How HouseForSale came to be

House hunting in Waterford taught me one thing fast: the system isn't built for buyers. It's built for agents. Portals charge agents to list, and the buyer gets a basic search box and an email alert that only covers new listings.

I wanted more. I wanted to know the second a price dropped. I wanted to see properties from agent websites before they hit the portals. I wanted something to tell me which listings were worth my time and which weren't.

So I built it. Scrapers that pull data directly from 48 Waterford agents. An AI engine that scores properties based on my personal priorities. And a simple notification system that delivers what I need, when I need it.

Once it was working for me, it became clear other buyers in Waterford could use it too. HouseForSale was born.
